Building Research Studies

When you decide to do a research study, it's important to keep two major points in mind:

  1. Make sure the study's results are VALID about the subjects you study. (INTERNAL validity)

  2. Make sure you draw the correct INFERENCES from the results of your study. (EXTERNAL validity or GENERALIZABILITY)
